Rule 74. Ball Must Be Kept in Motion

A Minor penalty shall be assessed any player who deliberately holds the ball against the boards or any part of the goal in any manner, unless he is being checked by an opponent. Note: Referees must determine the offending player and enforce these rules quickly.
