Awards Explained

1. INTERNATIONAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR: This is awarded to an individual that has excelled at the international level of Ball Hockey in 2023

2. PROVINCIAL HOST OF THE YEAR: This is awarded to an individual that has provided numerous hours of putting together a Super 2023 OBHF Provincial Tournament

3. REFEREE OF THE YEAR This is awarded to an individual that has excelled at every level of Ball Hockey Refereeing in 2023

4. EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR: This is awarded to an individual that has provided numerous hours, dedication, and support to the sport of ball hockey at the Executive Level in 2023.

5. MALE JUNIOR NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR (THE KYLE COLEMAN AWARD) This is awarded to the top male junior player from National competition in 2023. This individual emulates the qualities that Kyle lived, demonstrating high skill, great teamwork, and comradery on and off the floor, making themselves and their teammates better in the process.

6. FEMALE NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR (THE AVERY ANDREW AWARD) This is awarded to the top female player from National competition 2023 . This individual emulates the qualities that Avery lived, demonstrating high skill, great teamwork, and comradery on and off the floor, making themselves and their teammates better in the process.

7. FEMALE LEADERSHIP AWARD (THE TRACY KITCHEN AWARD): This is awarded to a Female individual that showed unbelievable Leadership in 2023.

8. MARY PLATT LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD: This is awarded to an individual that has provided a lifetime of achievements in the sport of ball hockey. This is an OBHF Hall of Fame Award
